Billy Lambert is the Director of French & Michigan in San Antonio, Texas. Lambert received his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio. From 2001-2008, Lambert taught in the architecture department of the university. Lambert previously worked at various architecture firms throughout San Antonio including Curtis Wunderlich, PE; Sprinkle Robey Architects, Dixie Watkins III + Associates, Poteet Architects, and Candid Rogers Architect.
In 2005, Lambert began his own professional work and studio, which eventually became known in 2013 as French & Michigan. Projects include residential, commercial, and landscape renovations and new buildings. Recently, Lambert expanded the studio to include a gallery and later a fabrication workshop. He also founded the Maxwell House program, an architecture residency for graduate students at the original location of his studio. Lambert is a board member of the Friends of Government Canyon and SAY Sí.
