Peter Grojean

FOGC President

Peter Grojean is the founder and owner of Accessibility Unlimited, a company which helps ensure facilities in Texas are accessible to those even with disabilities. He was born into a naval family and had the opportunity to live all around the country growing up. At the Virginia Military Institute, he graduated with a degree in engineering and worked as a professional engineer in Houston and San Antonio for many years before opening up an architectural firm with two other partners. Currently his once-side project has turned into a career, as he focuses his attention on helping to ensure that facilities in Texas are accessible to all. Peter leads continuing education classes on the topic and acts as an expert witness when needed. His office is located in a re-purposed Quonset hut near the Pearl, which he had a hand in modernizing.

He became involved in Government Canyon after 2008. In addition to Government Canyon, Peter is on the board of the Accessibility Professionals Association, and was also on the board of the ARC of San Antonio.

Peter's interests include glider flying, archery, cycling, WWII movies, and stinky hound dogs.
