Wildflower Hike

Join Friends of Government Canyon volunteers for this moderate intensity hike to see early bloomers and other coming attractions of Spring!  

Who is Invited

Open to ages 8 and up; minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.  No pets please.

Registration & Fees

Registration required for EACH participant.  Sorry, no group registrations.  Natural Area entry fees apply; stop at the Entrance Fee Booth to self-pay/register.

When & Where to Meet

Arrive by 8:45 AM.  Meet at the rainwater tower next to the Visitor's Center.  Plan ahead, as the Natural Area often experiences heavy visitation and there may be wait time at the fee booth.

What to Wear & Bring

Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, sunscreen and hats are recommended.  Bring plenty of water; 1 liter per person strongly recommended; and a snack if desired.   

Requirements

Group size is limited to 14. No pets please. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. To reduce human impact on the Natural Area, please follow the Leave No Trace principles of outdoor ethics.
