Great family fun and a real treat for all!
Enjoy an evening of safe trick-or-treating in a natural setting while giving back to our community!
We will have volunteers with nature-themed, decorated vehicle “trunks” handing out treats (maybe some tricks too?), a craft area focused on watercolors and nature, and a self-guided animal sounds hike short enough for small children. Wear your costumes and bring water to stay hydrated.
We are offering FREE entry into this event for adults and children in exchange for one non-perishable food item per visitor. Please visit https://sanantoniofb.wpenginepowered.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/12-Most-Wanted-2019.pdf for a list of the most wanted non-perishable items.
The evening’s event will take place in parking lot C – Directions will be provided upon entry – Attendees will park their vehicles in parking lots A and B, and then walk to Lot C.
Since this is a fee waived program, advanced reservations will not work for those without a Texas State Park Pass (there is no way to waive those fees online). This program is first come-first served while parking is available and while supplies last.
Event is subject to cancelation in the event of inclement weather.
Want to join in on the decorating or otherwise volunteer at the event? Simply email nic.maloukis@tpwd.texas.gov for details on how you can help!
