Paleontologists have gained new insight into the environment and behavior of dinosaurs by using advanced imagery techniques. Digitizing Early Cretaceous (112-103 million years ago) dinosaur trackways at Government Canyon and other Texas locations preserves the geological heritage of fossil sites which will be lost over time to the natural forces of erosion. Join us to learn more from Dr. Thomas Adams, the Chief Curator and Vice President of Research at the Witte Museum. Dr. Adams has led past research on the dinosaur tracks at Government Canyon and is an expert on trackways throughout Texas.
