Discover the masters of the night sky — owls!

Learn how owls are specially adapted to survive and thrive after the sun goes down. We’ll also talk about the owls that call Government Canyon SNA home and how you can look for owls where you live.

Who is Invited

Open to all ages; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.

Registration, Fees, Day Pass & Cancellation

Registration/reservations are NOT required! While registration is NOT required for this program, all Natural Area entry fees apply.

To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth, please pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass .

IMPORTANT INFO: This is an after-hours program. If you DO NOT reserve a Day Pass in advance, correct change will be needed at the entry Fee Booth and you should self-register there. Instructions are posted to the right of the Fee Booth: $6 per adult (13 years or older) or enter your annual Texas State Parks pass number on the appropriate line of the self-pay envelope.

When & Where to Meet

Meet at the Nathan & Anna Kallison Amphitheatre in Parking Lot C. This program will be held in an accessible facility – let us know if you need any accommodations to make this program work for you.
