Spend Mother’s Day with Mother Nature!
Current COVID-19 protocols; masks and social distancing; are strongly encouraged. We’ll search for wildflowers and other interesting plants on this guided walk. Moderate intensity hike; participants must be able to walk over rocky, uneven ground.
Who is Invited
Open to ages 8 and over; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Registration/reservations required! Sorry, no group registrations.
When & Where to Meet
Arrive no later than 8:45AM. Meet at the Visitor Center by the rainwater harvesting tower. Be advised that the Natural Area often experiences heavy visitation and there may be wait time at the fee booth. Plan to be at the Visitor Center and ready to go no later than 8:45AM; the hike starts promptly at 9:00AM.
What to Wear & Bring
Current COVID-19 protocols; masks and social distancing; are strongly encouraged. Sturdy shoes, sun protection and at least 2 liters of water PER PERSON strongly recommended.
Requirements
Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please. Participants must be able to walk over rocky, uneven ground.
Registration, Fees & Cancellation
Registration is required for this hike. Group size is limited to the first 10 that register. Natural Area entry fees apply.
