Start the new year with a leisurely hike at Government Canyon State Natural Area with the Friends of Government Canyon.
We’ll hike the historic Joe Johnston Route from its trailhead to the turn-off for Wildcat Canyon Trail and return the same way. This hike is about 2 miles long and will have some slight elevation change with fairly rocky conditions.
