Join us for a ruck march on the Savannah Loop Trail in honor of those we have lost to suicide and in support of those still struggling to find a way to live after their service.
Hikers can do as many laps as they feel comfortable with. Please provide your own weighted ruck. The target pack weight for this ruck march is 17 pounds to represent the average of 17 veterans we lose to suicide every day. We will have a pack scale for your use when you check in at the Frontcountry Trailhead. If you choose to fill your ruck with canned food, rice, or beans, you can empty your ruck into a donation box for the San Antonio Food Bank at the end of the event.
