Help Us Clean Up at Camp Oh-No!

  • Government Canyon 12861 Galm Road San Antonio, TX, 78254 United States (map)

Volunteers at Government Canyon State Natural Area have discovered a camp site which is an example of what not to do in the great outdoors. Can you help the campers learn how to do a better job next time? We’ll discuss the seven Leave No Trace principles and make a plan for setting up a more environmentally safe camp site.

Camp Oh-No will be set up in the Rock Garden area, between the Visitor Center and the Discovery Trailhead. Come and go any time during the event. Open to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

Registration is NOT required for this event, but all Natural Area entrance fees apply. To save time at the Fee Booth on crowded days and ensure entrance, please pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass. The Natural Area can be busy.

This activity is subject to cancellation. Should there be inclement weather, please check Natural Area conditions by calling GCSNA's main office at 210-688-9055, or go to GCSNA’s website, twitter feed or Facebook page.
