Celebrate National Trails Day with an adventure on the Bluff Spurs Trail. The hike leads to an amazing overlook where you can get a real sense of the canyon that is our namesake. This hike is approximately 4 miles in length with a fair amount of elevation gain over rocky, rugged terrain.
Who is Invited
Open to ages 10 and over; participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; no pets please. Be aware that this hike is approximately 4 miles in length and includes a fair amount of elevation gain over rough, rocky terrain.
Please note: The hike is open to the first 15 who check in at the Frontcountry Trailhead between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m.
Registration & Fees
Registration is NOT required for this hike, however the group size is limited and open to the first 15 who check in at the Frontcountry Trailhead between 7:30 and 7:45 AM. Though the hike is free, all Natural Area entry fees apply.

Meet at the Frontcountry Trailhead in parking lot C.
What to Wear & Bring
Dress for hiking outdoors; sunscreen and hat recommended. Wear sturdy footwear appropriate for rough trails; bring two (2) liters of water PER PERSON, and a snack if you like.
