Join us on a trip back in time with a short but beautiful hike to the historic Kallison Ranch complex. Not normally open to the public, you will be treated to some incredible scenic views while learning about one of Government Canyon’s founding families.
The hike is approximately 2.5 miles round trip over sections of moderately rough terrain. We will discuss how Texas was settled in the late 1800s and learn about the highly influential Kallison family and their legacy.
