Sunday Story Time: Wild Turkeys (and Deer, too!)

  • Government Canyon 12861 Galm Road San Antonio, TX, 78254 United States (map)

Karol Antrim, a retired children's librarian, Texas Master Naturalist, and GCSNA volunteer, will be sharing two books from her Texas Nature Trail Adventures series, Wild Turkeys and White-tailed Deer. The non-fiction rhyming picture books are Karol's retirement affirmations. "After two decades of struggling to find age-appropriate and endearing non-fiction books for children 3-8 that were not 1) too wordy and boring or 2) too basic and general, I decided to just write my own". She's excited to share her work with nature-loving children and parents.

Karol will have feathers, antlers, and other artifacts to learn about during the story time.
